Slack
Two ways into Twos from Slack: a command, and a message action.
Why you'd care
Work asks arrive in Slack and then get lost in Slack. Capturing them where they arrive, without switching apps, is the difference between a to-do and a message you meant to come back to.

Install the app into your workspace

The two routes
The slash command writes whatever you type as a thing.
Save to Twos, from a message's actions menu, captures somebody else's message. That is the more useful of the two, because it is the case where retyping is the friction. It brings the message's images along.
What comes across
The message text, and who wrote it.
Images come across too, through the message action. A screenshot somebody posted is saved with the message, and an image on its own becomes a photo thing. Copies are kept in Twos, because Slack's own file links expire and only work inside your workspace.
The slash command is text only. Slack does not let a command carry a file at all, so that one is a Slack limit rather than a Twos one.
Removing it
Remove the app from your Slack workspace, and disconnect it in Twos settings. Do both.
Tips
- Add a word of your own when saving someone else's message. Out of context, most Slack messages are unintelligible in a week.
- Turn on auto-tagging so work captures are separable from everything else.
