Workflowy, Dynalist and Logseq all export OPML, the standard outline format, and Twos reads it.

Before you start

What comes across

  • Nesting. Every bullet becomes a thing, indented the way it was.
  • Notes on a bullet become that thing's note.
  • Checkboxes and completed items become to-dos, and completed ones come across done. Logseq's TODO, DOING and LATER become open to-dos, DONE is done, and CANCELED is canceled.
  • Bold, italics, links and #tags in the text.
  • Logseq journal pages land on the day list for their date.

When the whole outline sits under one top bullet, that bullet becomes the list's name.

Tips

  • A big Workflowy account comes across as one list per top-level bullet, since one list holds up to 1,000 things. One import holds up to 50 lists, so for a very large outline, export one branch at a time.
  • Twos lists are flatter than an outline. After importing, it is worth turning deep branches into their own lists. See sublists.
