Invite friends
Every friend who joins with your referral link or code gives you a free month of Twos Plus and gives them a free week.
Why you'd care
It is the simplest way to use Plus for longer without paying. The person sharing gets the bigger reward, and your friend still gets a real week of Plus to try, so it is a link worth sending rather than a favor you ask for.
How it works
- Share your referral link or code.
- Your friend joins with it.
- You get a free month of Plus (30 days), and your friend gets a free week.
The rules
Up to 3 free months for inviting. That is over the whole life of the account, not per month or per year. Each friend who joins adds one month until you reach 3.
Your friend's week is a one-time welcome. An account can only be referred once, so each person gets the joining week at most once. It does not count toward their own limit, so they can still earn 3 months by inviting people themselves.
Time stacks. A new month or week is added onto the end of any free Plus you already have, so it runs back to back instead of overlapping.
You get a heads-up before it ends. We send you a notification the day before your free Plus ends.
It is separate from the free trial. The 7-day trial on monthly and yearly is still there when you want it. Free Plus from friends does not use it up. If you start the trial while free Plus is still running, the two overlap rather than stacking.
Already paying? You get coins instead. If you already pay for Plus, on a subscription or Lifetime, or you are an Original Twoser, or you have already earned all 3 months, you get 200 coins and your friend still gets their free week. A friend who already pays for Plus gets 200 coins instead of the week. See coins.
Codes do not work both ways. Two people cannot each earn by using each other's codes. If you referred someone, entering their code later does not earn you anything.
Twos Chat has a monthly allowance. While your Plus comes from friends, Twos Chat includes 300 messages a month. Paid Plus is unlimited. If you need more, contact us.
The most you can get
One person can get, at most:
- A free week for joining with someone's code
- 3 free months from inviting friends
- The 7-day free trial when they start monthly or yearly
Join with a friend's code and invite three friends of your own, and that is 97 days of free Plus. Start the trial after it runs out and you get 7 more days before you pay anything.

Customizing the code
A custom referral code, rather than the generated one, is a Plus feature. Pluscurrently free for everyone
Worth it only if you share it publicly, where a readable code performs noticeably better than a random string.
Going further
Someone can add a code after signing up, within a window, so a friend who joined first is not necessarily too late. See Settings Account Add referral code.
Referrals used to pay less. Both sides once got 200 coins, and later both sides got a free week, up to 3 weeks. Now the person inviting gets a month, up to 3 months, the friend gets a week, and coins only go to people who already pay or have used all 3 months.

Tips
- Send it with a reason. "This is the app I use for my day" works, a bare link does not.
- Enter a code when you sign up if someone gave you one. It costs nothing, you get a free week, and the person who invited you gets a month.
