Share outside Twos
Five ways to get something out of Twos, whether it is going into a message, a file or onto paper.

The first three are on the share sheet as you open it. The file and print options are one level in, behind More, then As File.
Share as a file
Two formats, and the difference is what you expect the other person to do with it.

Markdown is the better choice if the list has any structure worth keeping. Plain text is the safer one if you have no idea what they will open it with.
Print, and how to get a PDF
Print opens the list in a print view with its formatting intact, including colours and per-thing marks rather than flattened text.
There is no separate PDF option, and there does not need to be one. Choose Print and then save as PDF in the print dialog, which every browser, Mac and phone offers. That is the whole route.
Share as an image
A list or a selection of things can be rendered as a card. It reads well in a message and does not require the other person to open anything.

Going further
Sharing as a link may publish it. A link that anyone can open means the list is public. Sharing as text or an image does not publish anything. See publish a list or a thing.
The branding can be removed. Shared images carry a small Twos mark by default, which can be turned off. Pluscurrently free for everyone
For a whole account, use export instead. Sharing is for one list or a handful of things, and it offers text, markdown and print. Export covers everything you have written and adds CSV, JSON and a zip that bundles your photos. See export your things.
No HTML file. Print builds an HTML page internally to render the print view, but there is no way to save it as one. Markdown is the closest thing, and it is more useful anyway.
Tips
- Text is the most reliable. It works in every app and nobody has to click anything.
- Images are best for lists under about fifteen things. Longer than that and nobody reads the picture.
- Send markdown to anyone who uses a notes app. It lands as a real list on the other side rather than a wall of text.
