Coins are a score you earn as you use Twos.

Why you'd care

They are a record of how much you have used the app, not a currency. Nothing is priced in coins, and there is nothing to save up for. If gamification is not for you, they can be hidden entirely and nothing else changes.

How you earn them

  • Clues, the in-app quests. See clues and quests
  • Referrals, but only sometimes. A friend who joins with your code gives you a free month of Plus and gives them a free week. You get 200 coins instead when you already pay for Plus or have earned all 3 free months, and a friend who already pays gets 200 coins instead of the week. See invite friends
  • Milestones as you use the app

Going further

They are not spent on anything. Features come with Twos Plus, or they are free. There is no shop, no packs to buy and no per-feature price.

Anything you unlocked before stays unlocked. If you bought a feature outright in an earlier version of Twos, it is still yours and always will be. See what you keep.

Coins never expire, and nothing takes them away.

It can all be hidden. Settings Appearance & Accessibility Show coins and Settings Appearance & Accessibility Twos coins remove the whole layer.

Settings that change this

Tips

  • Treat them as a streak for the whole app rather than as money. That is what they are.
  • If they are a distraction, turn them off. Everything else works identically.
