How dates, times and measurements are written throughout the app.

Where each one shows up
Date format affects day titles, thing info, and the text inserted by the dd shortcut. See date and time shortcuts.
Week start affects the week bar, week view, and the calendar. See the week bar.
Distance units affect location reminder radii. See location reminders.
Extra time zones add an hour column per zone to the calendar and the timeline, and show the time elsewhere when you set a reminder. Your own zone always follows your device. See time zones.
Going further
These are independent of language. You can read the app in one language and use a different date convention, which matters if you have moved country. See language.
Date detection follows these too. How Twos interprets an ambiguous date you typed depends on your format, which is worth knowing if a reminder lands on the wrong day.
Tips
- Set week start before you get used to the week bar. Changing it later is briefly disorienting.
- If dates in reminders keep landing wrong, check the date format before assuming detection is broken.
