Sun Mar 2, 2025by Nicola on TwosOn Friday the last ewe to deliver gave birth. Sadly, her lamb was dead. I had an idea to see if she might adopt Muffin. So we put them in the same pen, showed Muffin how to feed, and gave them lots of encouragement. Muffin settled very quickly and worked out how to feed. The ewe gradually began to accept him. Today I heard her talking to Muffin. He was bouncing round like a Spring lamb. It looks like the match has worked. A lamb gets a new Mum, a ewe gets a lamb.
