Fri Jan 17, 2025by Nicola on TwosCrazy day on the farm! One lamb in the paddock. One lamb in the shed. Another ewe had a lamb. By 5 p.m. a different ewe had given birth. There were two ewes and three lambs. They seemed confused as to whose lamb was theirs. I penned all of them up together. Phil has just phoned to say there are now two ewes and FIVE lambs! Normally multiple births happen quite rapidly. I’d hung around for a while and been in and out several times checking on them. Also, their dots denoting the number of lambs scanned were wildly inaccurate! Phil has tubed a couple of them and one is in the house. I’ll check on them in the morning.
