Mon Oct 28, 2024by Nicola on TwosThis morning Tinkles, Blue and Bramble stood around me in the paddock in triangular formation. One behind me, the other two either side. I'd fed them their special corn. And then they all gathered round, leaning in as I talked to them and stroked their heads. We stood like that for at least 10 minutes. It was a perfect Autumn day. Blue sky, fresh but warm enough, bright. It was an incredible moment. Later I rescued a ewe who was tangled up in brambles, with three lambs bringing up the rear. And then had a hen breakout and had to round up five hens.
