I semi-retired in Feb, 2024 from nonprofit management to work on some personal & family projects. I just met this morning with some individuals who asked me if I would consider coming out of retirement to become the Executive Director of their small nonprofit. If the full Board agrees that I am the person to lead them into their next chapter, then I may be setting retirement aside for several more years. They have made a tempting offer, and want someone who can lead them to the next level. I have the skills and experience they need. So I'm confident (and they reached out to me). I'll know for sure in the next couple of days.
