I was preparing to move the main broody hen and her eggs to a safer spot - away from the other hens who might have attacked any chicks. Tonight I 'candled' the eggs to see if I needed to move the hen. Unfortunately, none of the eggs were fertile so I moved them out of the nesting box. Perhaps next time.Candling eggs
