They’re all warehouse stock so not current titles but always lots to choose from and very inexpensive. People leaving the shop always have armfuls of books. Next I went to a garden centre, bought some bambino plants and had a mooch about. I took my time - it was great to potter. By this time, I was ready for another latte. I sat and read a Charlotte Brontë biography that I can’t put down. Tonight we discovered that the hens had made a bid for freedom … twice! The garden will need some tidying tomorrow. Biscuit was the only one who stayed in - she’s sitting on eggs!
