Love provides more than enough space for me to accept my self wholly, warts and farts and all – whether I actually feel that way or not. This being the case I have the opportunity to love others, even at what I perceive may be their worst, regardless how I feel about them. Love comes first, and last. Therefore I resign from having to waste my energy rejecting people who Love hasn't rejected. And Love never fails. I certainly don't need to take abuse and be somebody's punching bag, but I also am not obligated to go pick fights I wasn't invited to. Not only is Love the starting line and the finish line, it's the whole journey.
