Thu Nov 30, 2023by Nicola on TwosYesterday, the last 3 remaining pups were collected. I was a bit sad to hear the news although I had seen them first thing in the morning. They were looking very long and leggy, and quite grown up. This morning we had a light dusting of snow. The hens' water was frozen so I went into the sheep shed to take some water from the barrel. I heard squeaks! Two little puppies were lying in the straw. Pip must have had them overnight. I sorted them out as best I could. I moved them nearer Pip and gave them something warm to lie on. They started feeding and Pip seemed to know what to do. So, the pupdates start again! P.S. Two more puppies arrived since this morning!! P.P.S. And another two, making a total of six puppies altogether! My cup runneth over!
