- SECTION 1: WELCOME & WHY THIS MATTERS
- Welcome!
- This is both the webinar presentation AND your planning template.
- If you're here BEFORE the webinar → Bookmark this and come back during the session
- If you're here AFTER the webinar → Scroll through to review, then jump to the "Your Turn" section to build your plan
- The Disappearing Act
- How many of us have been to a webinar, gotten really excited, maybe even started implementing... and then two weeks later, completely disappeared?
- Yeah. Me too.
- Here's what I've realized: it's not a motivation problem. It's a planning problem.
- Most planning frameworks assume you have:
- Predictable bandwidth
- Long blocks of deep work
- No caregiving responsibilities
- Zero life interruptions
- A full quarter to maintain momentum
- But that's not real life for solopreneurs.
- You're building a business:
- During naptime
- Between Zoom calls
- In 15-minute pockets
- While navigating unpredictable energy
- Alongside everything else you're responsible for
- So when you try to follow a 90-day plan or an annual goal, by week 7 or 8, momentum fades. Distractions pile up. Big intentions stall.
- What if the problem isn't you? What if it's the timeline?
- The 6-Week Rhythm
- 6 - 2- 6
- The 6-Week Year:
- Short enough to stay urgent
- Long enough to create real progress
- The same cycle used by Basecamp (Shape Up method) for over a decade
- Why 6 Weeks Works
- The problem with longer timelines:
- Week 1-3: Excited, high energy
- Week 4-6: Reality sets in, distractions accumulate
- Week 7-8: Momentum fades
- Week 9-12: Survival mode or complete stall
- Six weeks is the sweet spot:
- Long enough to make something REAL
- Short enough to maintain urgency
- Matches how human attention and energy actually work
- Basecamp's proof:
- Basecamp runs entirely on 6-week cycles with 2-week cooldowns:
- 6 weeks of focused building
- 2 weeks for reflection, bug fixes, and planning the next cycle
- Fixed time, flexible scope
- No endless backlogs
- If they can launch major software this way, you can definitely use it to move your business forward.
- The Three Buckets: Energy • Work • Love
- Energy - Work - Love
- To make the 6-week rhythm sustainable, you can't just plan work.
- ENERGY — Health, movement, rest, the practices that fuel you
- WORK — Business building, visibility, offers, systems
- LOVE — Relationships, home, connection, things that matter outside work
- Why all three? Because if you only focus on work and ignore energy and love, you burn out. And then your 6-week sprint crashes anyway.
- Sustainable consistency requires planning across all three areas.

- What I Learned From This Sprint
- The 6-week timeline kept me focused without feeling overwhelming
- Having all three buckets prevented burnout
- Some weeks I did more in one area than others — that's okay
- The 2-week cooldown after let me rest and plan the next cycle
- I didn't complete everything perfectly, but I made REAL progress
- SECTION 3: YOUR TURN - BUILD YOUR PLAN
- Step 1: Pick Your Three Goals (3 minutes)
- Choose ONE goal in each bucket for the next 6 weeks.
- ENERGY: What's one thing related to your health, movement, rest, or practices that would make you feel more fueled?
- WORK: What's one business thing you want to move forward? (An offer, visibility, a system, learning a skill)
- LOVE: What's one thing in your relationships, home, or personal life that matters?
- Write these down. Just one sentence each. Don't overthink it.
- ENERGY:
- [Your goal here]
- WORK:
- [Your goal here]
- LOVE:
- [Your goal here]
- Step 2: Break It Into Weekly Milestones (4 minutes)
- Pick ONE of your three goals — whichever feels most clear.
- Break it into 6 weekly milestones. These aren't tasks — they're outcomes you can see by the end of each week.
- Example:
- If my WORK goal is "Launch my Substack paid membership"
- Week 1: Finalize offer + pricing
- Week 2: Write first pillar post
- Week 3: Write second pillar post
- Week 4: Create sales page
- Week 5: Invite 10 warm contacts + share in 1 community
- Week 6: Review results, adjust for next sprint
- Now you try. What does progress look like each week for your chosen goal?
- Step 3: Add 2-3 Actions Per Week (5 minutes)
- For each week, add 2-3 simple actions that move the milestone forward.
- Example:
- Week 5 Milestone: Invite 10 warm contacts + share in 1 community
- Actions:
- Send personal DMs to 10 people
- Write community post
- Follow up with anyone who responds
- That's it. Not 47 tasks. Just 2-3 things that move the milestone forward.
- You don't have to do all 6 weeks right now — just sketch out Week 1 with 2-3 actions. That's your starting point.
- Your Week 1 Actions:
- Week 1 Milestone: [From above]
- Actions:
- 1.
- 2.
- 3.
- SECTION 4: AI BONUS - THE ACCELERATOR
- Want to Go Faster?
- The AI Planning Prompt
- Copy this prompt and use it in ChatGPT:
- You are my planning partner. I have 6 weeks to make real progress on [INSERT YOUR GOAL].
Ask me clarifying questions about my constraints and priorities, then help me break this into:
- 6 weekly milestones (outcomes I can see each week)
- 2-3 simple actions per week
Make it ambitious but realistic for someone with [X hours/week].
- Make it better
AI will ask you clarifying questions first
Answer them honestly (your constraints, time available, what you've tried before)
It will then give you a structured breakdown
You can refine: "Make it simpler" or "What's the ONE thing to prioritize each week?"
- SECTION 5: SPRINT LAUNCH WEEK - GET SUPPORT
- The Reality Check
- Having a plan is not the same as completing a plan.
- You know this. You've made plans before. And then life happened.
- The difference between having a 6-week plan and actually FINISHING a 6-week sprint comes down to three things:
- Weekly anchoring — Something that brings you back to your plan every single week
- Real support when you get stuck — Not a month from now, but when you're in Week 3 and don't know what to do next
- Accountability that doesn't feel like pressure — Just someone checking in without judgment
- This is why I built the Sustainable Consistency Collective.
- Sprint Launch Week: December 1-7
- You just sketched out the beginning of a 6-week plan. But I'm guessing it's rough. Maybe you got one goal pretty clear and the other two are still fuzzy. Maybe you have Week 1 figured out but Week 4-6 are question marks.
- That's totally normal. This is a cursory plan — it's supposed to be rough.
- Here's what I'm offering:
- Sprint Launch Week — December 1-7
