❤️ ✨ Welcome to My 6-Week Year Experiment Tracker
by Meredithe · 35 things on Twos
- Most people set goals by the year, or maybe the quarter. But here’s the problem: by week 7 or 8, momentum fades, distractions pile up, and big intentions stall.
- I’m experimenting with a different rhythm: the 6-Week Year. It’s short enough to stay urgent, long enough to create real progress — a cycle used by innovative companies like Basecamp (Shape Up method) to launch products millions of people use.
- For me, this sprint runs Aug 25 – Oct 5, 2025. I’m tracking three areas from my Heroic coaching framework:
- Work: Launching my Substack paid membership with pillar content, workshops, and coworking.
- Energy: Resetting my health baseline with Orangetheory, food tracking, and joyful movement.
- Love: Resetting our home and yard after losing our dog Chennell, so the environment feels lighter and calmer.
- I’ll update this tracker weekly. By the end of 6 weeks, I’ll share what worked, what didn’t, and how this rhythm feels compared to traditional planning.
- 👉 Curious? Try it yourself — pick one focus and ask: “What could I move forward in 6 weeks?”
