🤫 Twos v4
by Parker · 101 things on Twos
- In progress
- ✓ Liquid glass UI
- ✓ Increase scroll up to 60 but scale with sizing
- ✓ Sorts with indented things
- ✓ Good morning! I’ve found no easy way to add tags while creating a thing. What do you think about adding a tag button right next to the list selector as shown in the mockup?
- ✓ This looks great. Thank you! Now one more request: update the icon to match the liquid glass look?
- Direct calendar integrations
- Pull in metrics like Day One does. For example: the steps count could be pulled in or the weather so that it is recorded as metadata with the thing. This could be useful perhaps if someone used Twos as a journaling app.
- ✓ Look at tag search

- ✓ WearOS improvements
- ✓ Edit individual things: text and type
- ✓ Create lists
- ✓ Show indented things
- ✓ 'Lists' button at the top of the Today page (instead of the bottom). As my Today list can get very long and I don't always want to have to scroll all the way through it when I actually only wanted a different List.
- ✓ Had a button (at the top) to quickly go back to Today when you're on any other List
- ✓ On this screen on the watch, possibility to see the tasks in the choosen color will help to Evaluate the emergency level and be more active....
- ✓ Look into apple reminders sync
- ✓ [To-dos/Filter]: Add a filter option to hide days with no to-dos when Board view is selected. 🤔
- PALs affiliate list revenue if you make a list public
- ✓ Is there still a "sort sublists to the top of lists" option in the new Twos?
- ✓ ISSUE: Deleted calendar event persisting in Twos. DETAIL: I use Google Calendar on a Samsung Android phone. Deleted an event for and opened the Twos phone app. The event persists on the phone app. Force closed Twos phone app and the event persists. Rebooted the phone and the event is still in Twos. 10 minutes has passed. The event is truly deleted from Google Cal.
- ✓ Connecting a calendar is not the issue. It is having a calendar that is not selected showing up (Birthdays, in this case). I checked in Twos (using your video). There is not one selected. This is weird.
- ✓ So I've been moving from app to app for task management on my MacBook, and I keep going back to TickTick because I can quickly see and tick off my tasks from the menu bar on my MacBook or the widget on my iPhone. Although you have a widget on the home screen of the MacBook, I would really love the ease if it's possible to also have it easily accessed in the menu bar so I wouldn't need to open the app fully. (Jade, email)
- ✓ Performance stuff
- ✓ Scenario 2: I have a recurring reminder to replace the filters in my air purifiers every six months. The next instance is scheduled for Feb 27, and I duplicated the reminder to try to get it to sync. Nothing showed up, presumably because of the look-back/forward window you mentioned. I understand a limited look-back window, but personally think any reminder in the future should be fair game. Anyway, that’s besides the point. When it didn’t sync to Twos, I decided to recreate it in Twos to test. It synced back to Reminders, but the repeating cadence was wrong. I set it to every six months in Twos, Reminders read it as monthly.
- ✓ More to come once I have time outside of the workweek to sit down with it for real, but in the meantime, here’s how scenario 1 looks in the detail view. I booked it as 3PM ET, but Apple knows I’m in PT and adjusts it to appear as 12PM PT in the summary view or whatever you want to call it. When it synced to Twos, it showed up as 9AM PT. Hope this helps!
- ✓ It would be really useful if Twos had a Read Aloud option for individual things or whole lists. I’m increasingly using Twos for longer summaries and learning notes, and being able to listen to them rather than read everything on screen would make review and learning much easier.
Ideally it would include:
- play/pause
- playback speed
- continue automatically through list items
An on-device text-to-speech option might also keep running costs fairly low while improving accessibility. (roger, email)
- ✓ Thank you! Also just noticed that scenario 2 synced back to Reminders with a specific time despite choosing “All Day” in Twos. That should instead correspond with a time of “None” in Reminders.
- ✓ I meant to sort a different list so I was just clumsy. But if there's a sorting option in future that organizes by create date or modification date, that would be awesome
- ✓ Search filters
- ✓ Past searches
- ✓ Hi. I use a Linux launcher called Vicinae, which is able to use Raycast extensions. The Twos extension works great! I've got a minor request, though, I'd like to see a thing added to today's list if I don't explicitly pick a list from the dropdown. That would make it faster when I just want to quickly add a note or some other little thing.
- ✓ <@357908431773892608> since yesterday, on android the whole menu selection does not work. Yesterday i saw notifications, i select the 2 lines on the left, reached menu, press the bell, it go back default screen(for me is today page), i select the 2 lines again, press bell again, and it went back to default screen again. I tried again, same thing back to default screen. Then i try other options like chat, home, universe, all came back to default screen. Even the options in more also comes back to default screen. So, please take a look. 😑
- ✓ when moving through months in the month picker, the < and > arrows pop up and down based on the number of days/alignment of weeks. This results in not being able to reliably just tap-tap-tap-tap if you have a lot of months to get through. Worse, sometimes the controls fall such that you hit a day and drop into it, and have to start the process all over. It would be great if the UI could keep those nav controls in the same location.
- ✓ Update: There’s no gradient overlay or the fade-out effect. Photo 1 (expected); photo 2 (current)
Today list top toolbar overlay issue when scrolling down. No issue when viewing normal lists. Use list background wallpaper to repro
- ✓ Hi! I have an email forwarded to Twos a month ago, with a reminder attached, that I’ve tried—and failed—to delete. Nothing works: changing the reminder, removing the reminder, or even deleting the "thing" itself. Is there a way to force its deletion so it stops showing up in my Calendar view every day? (Note: it doesn't appear in my Google Calendar!)
- ✓ I dindn’t nitic this before, but when you create a scheduled action with an @linkback list, this code does not translate to the listname in the calendar section of a day. See image.
- ✓ Week not showing in side menu for plus user reddit
- ✓ Great. I was using Twos mainly as a diary and then calendar events automatically come in Twos. Now I will use as a planner too. Btw, advanced tag filter would be a great and useful addition to the app. Like things which
"contains certain tags and things which
"doesn't contain" certain tags and combined "tag" search. I think right now single tag search only is there
- ✓ Composer/capture/WTD container background issue
- ✓ This is how it looks like - no background fill, just transparent. I think it’s a liquid glass issue
- ✓ Screenshotting hides keyboard?
- ✓ Not seeing full long lists in list detail view on mobile
- Sell lists
- ✓ Add the “Include years ago” option when sharing things to world in share modal. Currently it’s only available in copy text option 🤔
- ✓ Setting to automatically move any child *things* when moving a parent (MattCorr, discord)
- ✓ Actions (move, share, complete, tags) to impact nested things
- ✓ Calendar info?
- ✓ Apply things to indented things, moves, tags, reorders, etc.
- Reposting shared things and lists
- ✓ Drag and email into the desktop app to create a link (asfrank16, discord)
- ✓ Setting to have sublists automatically be a sublist thing (johnallen, discord)
- ✓ Add tags to toggled headings to indented things (DocFiPS, discord)
- ✓ Reverse sort the comments (mcfetz_de, discord)
- ✓ Query twos chat from a Lock Screen shortcut (Marshall Beyer, discord)
- ✓ Shift clicking should only select the parent thing if collapsed (lithiumblack, discord)
- ✓ Seeing more than one interval away on days
- ✓ Someone signed up with apple id
- ✓ Hey, I've just started trying Twos and currently I am really impressed with the app so far. I am currently on trial for Pro.
I've stumbled across some issues and bugs, yet minor. Only real annoying/breaking issue I have currently with the android app is that rumble aswell as the audio recording feature abort automatically after a few seconds, mostly after 10 seconds, really inconsistently. Sometimes its not even working at all. The recorded "audio track preview" thing seems to lag too. Is this a know issue/bug? I suppose its crashing as it looks like a performance issue.
Is there any resolution to this? Or can I provide logs? 🙂
This is breaking an important feature for me, which currently keeps me from subscription further than trial.
- WeChat integration
- ✓ Change default background
- ✓ Ask if they are enjoying Twos and then to App Store or feedback
- ✓ [AI]: Is it possible to use Smart Suggestions on demand using select > Ask AI > Generate smart suggestions without the general Smart Suggestions setting that auto-creates suggestions on new things? I think I prefer to generate suggestions manually, or for specific things, rather than automatically for new things. 🤔
- ✓ Check duplicate emails
- ✓ Look into email verification when changing email
- ---
- Breakdown of paywall vs pricing or features views
- [Chrome Extension]: Add the "Remember" feature to the main dialog. 🤔
- Wait I just saw your reply lol. Kind of like the Reddit thing where users post a comment under a post they find useful "remind me this in 2 days" and then Reddit (or a bot) sends the user a notification to remind them of that post after 2 days. So in this case for Twos, maybe add a quick "Remember" button inside the extension dialog/UI so I don't have to open Twos to edit it or use the Remember action. I prefer the Remember feature because it's like Reminder but at a random time like "twice this week" instead of specific days or maybe you can add both Remember and Reminder. Let me know if that makes sense. 😆
- For further feedback, I would request a pop up window where I can see what getting written from voice to text then let it either save automatically or I can have the ability to edit the content if I want.
- ✓ OK, my keyboard wishlist item of the day: ctrl+shift+backspace to delete the Thing in one go and move focus to the end of the Thing above. (Shelby discord)
- ✓ Tapping the "Tue • Today" in Today view shows/hides the week bar 🤔 Nino
- ✓ Long-press any toggle/chevron icons to collapse/expand all headers 🤯🤔
- ✓ Ability to use different levels of notification: critical, normal, light. Where each level can have a different sound, volume and vibration. (Perry, email)
- ✓ Import Outlook Data File (.pst) which is used to store email messages, contacts, calendars, and other Outlook data e.g Outlook Tasks/Microsoft To Do (ro, discord)
- File attachments (PDFs, etc.)
- ✓ Move view up when using ‘move up’ ‘move down’ selected actions so you don’t need to scroll when using that button.
- Locking lists from being edited (@kristopher)
- Edit a photo after taking a photo
- ✓ I wish I could copy text with its embedded links without having to manually add the embedded links later. 🤩
- “Scan documents” like notes app requested
- ✓ I see this today (see attached). But I do not use MM/DD, like most of the world. I have set the day format, and it is NOT set to MM/DD. So my question: do I actually have to use MM/DD for birthdays to be registered; or will another format also work? It is confusing to be told to use MM/DD, when that is never what I use. If I enter "Fred's birthday 09/10', I really don't know what Twos will do in this situation: use MM/DD as this suggests, or use what my date setting is set to...
- ✓ An opportunity 🙂 : If I change a reminder time, the change does not push to the phone app. The original reminder time causes a phone notification. If I edit a reminder time change on the web app, then open the phone app, the time change is accepted by the phone app. The initial reminder time setting -does- usually push to the phone app without opening the phone app.
- ✓ Is there a way to blur and password protect images?
- Similar to apple notes, scan a document and save it *like* a pdf onto Twos. Pretty much just grabs the corners of paper and makes the text more bold so people can throw away receipts and shit.
