- Context
- I started using ✌︎ Twos on August 23, 2024.
- Workflowy is the application I have been using for many years to organize my thoughts and tasks. This versatile platform allows me to jot down everything that comes to mind, whether it's actions to take, miscellaneous notes, references, or really anything else.
- What particularly attracts me to Workflowy is its speed and ease of use. Inputting information is frictionless, smooth, and intuitive. This ease of use is a major asset for me, as it allows me to capture my ideas instantly without losing the thread of my thoughts.
- Another aspect I greatly appreciate is the application's clean interface. Unlike other tools that can be overloaded with menus and options, Workflowy remains simple and straightforward. There are not a multitude of superfluous features that could distract me or waste my time on excessive customization.
- This minimalist approach allows me to focus on what matters: effectively using the tool to organize my ideas and tasks. I don’t find myself spending more time configuring the application than actually using it, which is unfortunately often the case with other, more complex tools.
- In summary, Workflowy has been my preferred solution for managing my ideas and tasks, thanks to its simplicity, speed, and efficiency.

- Here is my wishlist and the points I would like to see improved:
- ✓ Have the option to set a start date for a task. I have noted my family members' birthdays and need to find them a gift, but there's no point in searching 10 months in advance. I would like this task to appear only one or two months before the birthday.
- If the task is related to a specific day, I just need to set it for the day I want it to start. For example, to look for a birthday gift, if I want to start searching on December 1st, I will set this task for December 1st with a deadline of the end of January. This way, I will only see this task starting from December 1st.
- I am subscribed to several online calendars. For example, I play football and our team's matches are available on the Swiss Football Federation's website. It is possible to subscribe to the match calendar of one's own team, but I currently do not see them in Twos.
- ✓ To be able to record the personal actions of the AI.
- It's possible, I hadn't seen the little floppy disk.
- It is not possible to drag and drop an image in Twos. I tested it on the web version and it does not work.
- I use Twos for work and personal life. When I am in the Today view, I don’t want to see work tasks and notes when I am at home, and vice versa. For now, I use a tag for everything related to work. But I haven't found a way to filter the Today view based on context yet.
- In the leaderboard, it is not possible to see your position. If you are not in the top 50, too bad for you.
- It's great to be able to add a thumbnail to the list, but it is not visible when viewing the list.
- ✓ I don't understand much about the payments. Apparently, the app is free, but you can still pay; what is the purpose of that? I didn't understand if I was on a version of the app where I have access to everything for a certain time, or if it will always be like this. It's not very clear.
- I registered before September 2nd. As a sign of appreciation, we have access to all features. If I continue using the app, I will definitely subscribe to the Twos Plus plan.
- It is not possible to see who liked a list we published in "Twos World."
- It is not possible to make links between 'things' (unless they are lists).
- When you indent a "thing," it does not mean that they belong to the one above. Indentations have no hierarchical role; they are purely visual. If you want it to be hierarchical, you need to create sublists. 😭 When you automatically reorganize a page or when tasks are moved from yesterday to today, the children are not taken into account.
- It's not possible to see who liked something when using the 'like' style ✌️
- It is not possible to give tags to lists.
- It is not possible to navigate with the keyboard in the modals. For example, if you activate AI mode on something (⌘O), it is not possible to navigate with the keyboard. (1 like)
- No code block
- It is not possible to attach files other than images.

- Wishes that are on the roadmap.
- Possibility to change the date format. The U.S. format is not very user-friendly. It would be beneficial to select a preferred format, such as YYYY-MM-DD 👀
- In the settings, it is possible to configure the date in DD/MM/YYYY format, which is already much better than MM/DD/YYYY.
- You can't format text. It would be nice to format text and being abble to use Markdown convention like **bold** and _italic_.
- It is not possible to tag people. For example, '@people'.
- But it's in the roadmap 🤞
- Notes
- ✓ It's a bit strange that all of this is free. They say that "if a product is free, then we are the product". Is that the case here? Are our data not being used elsewhere or something like that? I attach great importance to this and I would like it to be clear.
- Twos sustainability
- TwosBaller: Hi gunzaj, you can read about it here :). Twos costs and everything are more than sustainable currently with the in-app purchases and the optional subscriptions will make it even more sustainable rather than one-time purchases. You can read more about it here but we have a strict privacy policy and terms of service to not sell your data ever, your data is your data
