Anti-cult documentary

- We hide things because we are ashamed. That lack of acceptance of self puts us at odds with ourselves
- Shame is a poison of our life force
- If you can share what you are ashamed with, other people will feel they are not alone
- When you can open up and share something that you think is not lovable because it is strange or different or wrong or bad and if you get to express that and other people get to bare witness, those people are able to say me too, I have felt that too and through that openness, you realize you aren't broken, you learn there is nothing uniquely bad about you
- Anything you truly believe that you don't express contributes to making you sick. If you express it, even it writing, it makes you less ill. You've shared. You've admitted. There is energy to inhibit something you know to be true
- Write about something from your past that you look away from stream of consciousness
- You can't be spiritual without breathing properly
- Dance through the discomfort. The more you push through the more free you are
