His reflection after the incident.
"Beloved friends,
Having rested and processed the severity of the disaster of flight SQ321 which I was on yesterday, I would like to share my reflection.
First and foremost, I thank God for His protection over me and my colleague who was also on the same flight. I am reminded that we can never take our safety for granted because it doesn’t matter how many times you have flown. All it takes is just once… So, do not forget nor get tired of praying.
_”A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”_ Psalm 91:7 ESV
This verse came alive literally as I saw the passengers falling around me while I was prompted by the Holy Spirit and managed to belt up just in time before the sudden steep drop in altitude. Praise the Lord 🙌
Finally, I must ask myself, why did God protect me and keep me alive? Yes, I know He loves me and He has a perfect plan for my life (just like He does with everyone who put their faith in Jesus). And I am reminded what Apostle Paul said…
_”For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me … ”_ Philippians 1:21-22 ESV
God has protected me and kept me alive for the simple reason that there is still work on this side of heaven for me to do for His Kingdom and glory - thus, my time is simply not up yet!
I hope this short reflection of my experience would encourage you to walk closer with God, pray unceasingly, abide in Him so that you could live fruitfully for Him and His glory. Hallelujah 🙌
