😤 How to navigate your way through the jungle of fear
by Joe · 21 things on Twos
- View fear from the rear view mirror
- Think of things in your past you thought were scary, how do you see them now?
- No matter how intimidating your next leap forward seems, it will be nothing when you look back on it.
- Our greatest fears are the greatest wastes of time.
- Flip the fear
- Look at fear from a different perspective.
- Break it down all the way to its core, and then ask yourself how you’ll feel if you don’t pursue your fear.
- Fear is all about how you choose to look at things.
- Use that perspective change to fuel your motivation.
- Be in the moment
- Is anything actually bad happening to you? Or just your thoughts of the worst possible case scenario?
- You deplete your energy by freaking out about things that haven’t even happened.
- Nine out of ten times it’s much scarier in your mind than in reality.
- Cut off the stream of crap
- If you want to help the world and yourself, keep your frequency high and do your work from a place of power and joy.
- Don’t think of anything upsetting in bed at night
- Our fears get exponentially worse as we lay there captive at 3am thinking about all the bad things that can happen.
- Unless you plan on getting out of bed and taking action, quit thinking about it.
- The only thing worse than staying up all night freaking out, is being exhausted the day after too.
- Love yourself
- And you will be invincible.
