- Ingredients for Betty Crocker Christmas Sugar Cookies:
- 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- Betty Crocker red and green decorating icing
- Preparation Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, softened butter, and egg until soft dough forms.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets.
- Once cookies are completely cooled, use the red and green decorating icing to create festive designs on top of each cookie.
- Allow the icing to set before serving or storing the cookies. Enjoy!
