- New bar to quickly write *things* down
- Suggestion: Combine bar to single line with the "WTD" on the left and the buttons, including the FAB, on the right. The current implementation takes up so much real estate.
- Parker: I’m not seeing how we’d have room for everything especially with large text
- Nino: I assume you have the placeholder text disabled? Bc I have mine disabled and it looks like a big empty space to me so I get why you suggest combining them 🤔
- I have mine enabled, since I can’t find the setting. I suggest combining them because of the vertical real estate it takes of the current implementation. Here’s a photo.
- Create lists from the FAB
- Opinion: seems like a no value-added button. It places the emphasis on creating lists over things by making it standout above the WTD bar.
- Parker: The value is most easily creating lists (?)
- John: Is not the desire to make things more important? This can be confirmed with user surveys, but it would seem that at least with new users, the initial instinct is to press the FAB for a new thing and not a new list.
- Also, the combination of the FAB and WTD in their current state makes it one-handed use even less possible. My suggestion: return to the single FAB that would provide the options of to do, camera, microphone, template, and list.
- Parker: What can you not reach with one hand?
- John: I can reach with one hand but it may be more difficult for those with smaller hands.
- Contextual fab
- Not sure what is meant by this but I'm sure my above comments suffice.
- Nino: The FAB changes its icon and action based on the current view so instead of a new list icon, it's a check-circle if you're in To-dos view
- John: Nothing changes for me. It remains as a new list button.
- Parker: in the to-dos view?
- John: Ahh! Now I understand what it does. It works.
- Improved the new list flow
- I like the actual list creation flow now, but just not liking the way to access it.

- Circular to-dos
- Circular or square: I have no preference.
- Invite friends in the side menu
- Great way to promote invites
- Week view is separate from calendar
- This is helpful on mobile, especially for even smaller screens
- Custom nav bar
- Absolutely love this! I've been wanting this for quite a while!!
- Twos World in the top right
- This makes sense as it signals private first public second
- Open sublist icons changed
- More minimal. Adds to the feel of the app.
- Smaller *thing* type icons
- Same as the sublist icons
- Select buttons are now exposed
- Thank you! These were difficult to press at times.
- Nino: I love how the dot grows when selection is active!
- Select actions have labels
- Suggestion: setting to turn off the labels for many like me who know the buttons and do not need the labels.
- Parker: we’ve had this in the past. I can bring it back :)

- Removed clocks from reminders
- Same as the sublist icons

- Other things I noticed
- Top bar (with search and list name) does not move out of view like the nav bar when trying to view a list full screen.
- Parker: yes, I removed this because it wasn’t very smooth
- The bounce animation when "flicking" a list is a bit much, in my opinion. Just a simple single bounce would be enough rather than the "stutter". This could possibly trigger someone with epilepsy.
- Parker: what “flicking”? What is stuttering?
- John: I just tested and it only happens when the list is short. I wonder if the app is confused if it should go full screen or not and does a double bounce/stutter. It is smooth with longer lists.
- The arrows and date picker button on the calendar page no longer match the overall UI. Even looking at the day card below the calendar shows a slim border/stroke and less of a shadow than the buttons above.

- Suggestions for the list actions modal
- Provide an easier access to the collapse header button then needing to press through different menus for access.
- Swap the Public and Publish toggles with the Organize and Use AI buttons so the buttons can be inline and the toggles in a user expected format.
- Parker: This seems like it disconnects those toggles from the share button
- John: I see. Also, now that I'm look at it more, this modal can be minimized to just icons like the thing actions bar. What do you tihink?
