- Testing Out The New Camp Stoves!
Growing up with my dad and spending time with him out in the woods hunting and fishing taught me a lot about survival, including how to set up a good camp and cook outdoors.
My dad has always had this quirky fascination with camp stoves and to this day collects them. It's one of his hobbies.
He used to lug these giant old dirty Coleman gas grills on all of our hunting trips. You know, the green one with the lid and the side flaps. That was always his favorite.
But it wasn't my favorite to carry that thing around, especially back and forth between camp and the truck. They are just heavy and awkward. I do admit they work good though.
I dreamed of the day that there would be a better solution. A lighter, more compact version.
Nowadays, I'm amazed at how tiny these things can get!
I can fit at least 100 of them in the same space that old Coleman took up.
Can you imagine lugging one of those old Colemans down the trail just so you can have a warm meal at the end of the day? Yeah, me either. I'd rather eat cold food.
These things are designed to fit nicely into any backpack for overnight outdoor adventures, like a hiking or hunting trip.
These little camp stoves may be small, but they do a great job heating up that morning cup of coffee, boiling a pot of stream water, simmering a bowl of delicious soup at the end of the day, and even frying that fish you caught in the stream just now.
They are very easy to use and I test each one to make sure it works right before sending any of our clients out on their own adventure. They are included in each of our day or overnight pack rentals. When you’re ready for your next hiking or hunting adventure don’t waste time collecting all the gear, let us put your pack together for you so you can adventure faster. Link in bio.
