Introduction to Twos
by John Allen · 32 things on Twos
- Twos is the first app and website (TwosApp.com) designed to remember and share *things* in a quick and organized way. Like...
- Rather than repeating app and website how about one of these alternatives?
- Digital space
- Service
- Technology (Twos is a first of its kind technology…)
- Digital solution
- People's names
- Events/reminders
- To-dos
- Thoughts/ideas/memories
- Class/meeting notes
- Blogs, articles, business information
- ...and more (click the arrow to open this sublist, aka a list within a list)
- In 2022, our daily active users have increased organically by over 1200%, with 5000 active users in the past 30-days.
- People love Twos' simple yet powerful features, the Twos community (510+ Discord members), and our vision to allow people to share and monetize their valuable information.
- NEWLY RELEASED: public profiles. Users can now share lists on their public profiles to discover and learn *things* from one another. Think family recipes, restaurant recommendations and other specialized, personal, information.
- Public profiles are accessible via TwosApp.com/@Username
- In the future, Twos will build a feed sorted by popularity for lists and *things*.

- Twos currently makes money on premium features and customizations (similar to Canva) with an LTV of $20 (10 premium features x $2 each).
- How many people pay for all of the upgrades vs save up the coins?
- Once the public feed and social features are optimized, users will be able to tip the creator and sell their valuable information.
- Twos will take a percentage of each peer-to-peer transaction.
- What will be the tip amount and what will be the cut? Will this be a monthly payout or instant. Instant payout will cost more money in processing fees to the Twoser, by the way.
- Also, why this model and not a monthly subscription for premium content? Why not a freemium model with custom domains, email subscriptions, and so on. Is this meant to build a following or will it be random things floating in Twos World?
Although my tendency is not the same for all people, I would be more inclined to pay a subscription I think than to just tip people for their content. The reason being is I live on a budget and I could better budget the subscription over the tipping.
Also, Twos Technologies will benefit more predictably with subscriptions than with a percentage of tips.
- Since Twos will have both a public and private side, buyers will be able to save purchased information to their own Twos for quick access.
- Somehow this “buying” needs to retain the rights to the creator. These are not NFTs.
There’s a high potential of copyright issues with just “buying” things without the rights staying with the creator.
Unfortunately, when it comes to things we produce, whether physical or digital, we do not live in a communal society. People are going to expect to somehow be able to retain their rights as the creator to their things and lists.
- Twos will be the world's largest network of private and public information.
- One potentially major problem will be the world’s focus on disinformation. What will be the guidelines for public content? Will it be censored or wide open? If anything goes, how do we protect Twos from slander because someone pushed their false narratives?
For example: what would it do to marketing and active user count if a KKK member started pumping their content on Twos World? Something like that could potentially tank Twos and it would take who knows how long to recover.
