Parade meeting with Kristin and Katie - 10-17-22

- Yay pizza! :) ... Kristin brought the drinks and Katie brought dessert.w
- What does parade day look like?
- Republic would already have the dumpsters to the square and TVCC and the stage on the square. .... (Perfect World: 12 trash cans and not a dumpster to TVCC, and 4 trash cans to the square one on each corner. Dumpsters messed up the ability to line up)
- Barriers already at TVCC ... only historically provided 6 which is not enough. Katie stole cones. .... (Perfect world: 12 barriers and 20 cones)
- a.m. -- Katie delivered three six foot tables to the stage and one to the parking lot plus chairs.
- Have snacks and drinks available for all volunteers.
- Have all lists prepared ... registration forms, etc. in a binder. Extra waivers and extra registration forms.
- Numbers for the floats ... pre-number them. Don't do it at the table.
- Mike from the water treatment plant is IMPORTANT ... he is the one who lined up the floats.
- Block off TVCC parking lot in the morning.
- Gifts for the judges.
- Decorate the stage/judges tables
- Be aware of the weather and the Judge chairs ... fabric bottom chairs from The Texan if it is cold.
- Book lights for judge's clipboards so they can see what they're writing.
- Judge packets.
- Banners at the check in table for the Grand Marshal and the Mayor. Should be at the storage closet at the Cain Center.
- Volunteer mtg at the parking lot at 2:30p
- Clean up not too hard ... collect the barriers and cones, put them to the side
- Put the trashcans back where they started
- Be ready for them to come back in
- Family friendly music
