- PREPARATION:
- Collect and Save important documents
- Wash all clothes

- Take pictures of Property (all angles)
- Clean/Fill Potable Water reserve
- Recharge or buy batteries for Flashlights.
- Contact Family/Friends for their status
- Check/Buy Prescriptions supply for 1-2 months in advance.
- Check/Buy First Aid Kit
- Check/Buy Canned Food
- Check/Buy Drinking Water
- Check/buy oil reserve for Power Generator
- Fill car with Gasoline
- Fill cans of Gasoline for Power Generator
- Clean rest of the property
- Protect doors & windows if needed.
- Research/Make a list of Emergency numbers
- Double check Family/Friends status
- Make an emergency backpack for each family member (including pets).
- DURING EVENT
- Stay calm
- Pay attention to noises
- If need to move from property, look around and evaluate risks - don’t forget the backpack!
- AFTER EVENT
- Inspect property for damages
- Make list of damages
- Take pictures of property and around
- Check for neighbors if need help, specially oldest one.
- Try to contact Family/Friends
- Contact Insurance/Local Government/Federal agency to report incidents.
