- Twos was founded in 2021 by first-time entrepreneurs Parker Klein and Joe Steilberg. The "Twos Guys" met at a startup in Austin, TX where they connected over their struggles with cognitive deficiencies and passion for helping others. "As someone with ADHD, I used to forget everything. My dad suggested I start writing things down to ease my overactive mind and the results were amazing. I used notebooks, reminders, a calendar, was emailing/texting myself, and still forgot things. Parker had a similar experience and developed Twos on that insight," said Steilberg, COO of Twos.
- Twos is an app and website (www.TwosApp. com) for remembering *things*. "It helps people reduce anxiety with a place to remember any *thing* from your wedding anniversary to things to need to do at work," said Klein, CEO of Twos. Since its incorporation in March of 2021, Twos has attracted 600 daily users growing 1200% so far in 2022.
- Andreas Calabrese, General Partner of Tampa Bay Ventures, met the Twos Guys in April of 2021 and led their pre-seed round which closed this week. "Twos will become the Notion for normal people," Calabrese said. "People are overloaded with information every day, so people need a quick and easy way to remember things, and Twos is perfect for that."
- Twos plans on using its newly acquired funds to grow its user base and reintroduce the public side of the platform dubbed "Twos World," a social marketplace of personal information, like movie ratings and restaurant recommendations.
- "There are no tools that help people organize *things* like Twos and we believe people should monetize off of their valuable *things*, like a family recipe or class notes," said Klein. "Companies like Facebook and Twitter monetize off of their users. We want to change that."
- "We have a big vision for Twos to become people's go-to solution to write, remember, and share any *thing*. Information is an asset and Twos will become the biggest network of private and social information."
