Easy, powerful demo

- What is the primary reason people forget things? Because they didn't write them down.
- What prevents us from writing things down? Our notebook is out of arm's reach, our notes app is too slow, or we can't find the things we wrote down.
- ✓ Even if we write things down, we lose a sticky note, didn't bring our notebook with us, forget about an email or text we sent to ourselves, or can't find a note in the clutter of traditional notes apps
- But the biggest reason we forget things is none of these places are designed specifically to help us remember *things*.
- Twos is that app and website designed specifically for that purpose
- Rather than using notes, reminders, and calendar apps, while still emailing and texting ourselves, Twos helps you remember to-dos, notes, lists, reminders, events, thoughts, and ideas all in one easy-to-use place.
- Twos does this with a simple system of days, lists, and things.
- NOTE: lotta talk, little demo. Maybe this top section is optional depending on the initial conversation
- ---
- Twos gives you a new list every day to quickly write down *things* you want to remember... like calling your mom.
- Call mom
- You can turn *things* into todos by tapping on its dash and changing its type to a todo.
- Every day, Twos will prompt you to move your unfinished to-dos from yesterday to today.
- You can also integrate your calendar which provides links to meetings at the top of your days.
- And you can set reminders with your natural language. For example, do you mind if I ask when your birthday is?
- ✓ NOTE: happy to discuss, but "natural language" > "regular sentences". Fuck sentences, we're writing *things*
- ✓ lmao - I just don't think the phrase "natural language" is easily understood.
- John's birthday is Aug 12th
- Twos will help you create a yearly reminder
- That brings me to the second part of Twos, lists.
- ✓ NOTE: how does birthdays lead to lists?
- With Twos, you can create custom lists like grocery lists, meeting notes, or to-do lists to organize *things*.
- Let's make a list for our current priorities...
- Top priorities
- Help people stop forgetting things
- Help people share things
- Change the world
- Plus, you can share and collaborate on lists with your colleagues, friends, and family.
- I'll add Joe/Parker to this list so he's clear on our priorities
- The last part of that shows how much more powerful Twos can be than traditional documents and notes are *things*
- *Things* are the individual pieces of text you write to remember in Twos which can be reordered, shared, and moved. For example...
- If we go back to Today, let's say we just left the house and think of a couple of grocery items we need from the store
- Before we forget them, we can quickly write down bananas and eggs on Today, select bananas by swiping it to the left, tap on eggs, and moving them to our grocery list
- A split second can be the difference between remembering something and forgetting it and move allows you to quickly capture something before you forget it
- Twos is free to use on iOS, Android, and on any computer at TwosApp.com. And with Twos, you own your data and we plan to expand on this differentiator allowing people to share and monetize off of their own things
