Remove list action bar. Good move! The more real estate is welcome and the app seems more fluid and symmetric with two buttons on either side of the search field. Add copy list to list actions. I understand the function but do not understand the implementation. It’s obviously a quicker way to copy everything on the list; however there are no options given as there is with the Share List function. Perhaps Copy text should be removed from the Share sheet and then also given it’s own options sheet. Alternatively, to keep with the quick copy, keep the current function as is with a long press bringing up the options sheet. Hmm, very strong solutions. I'm thinking maybe the last one with the option to long press for options. It was meant to be a quick button since (if you know what you're doing 😂 ) you can go into share to configure the options and then copy text. Works for me. 😀. Move the calendar picker up into the header. Good move! Pun intended. Remove colors from quick actions. Absolutely love this!! This so much more fluid and useable; plus it also is more with the current design trends. Few things though. The icons are not the same sizes. Very true. I'm not sure if it is our issue or the designer that made these icons haha. I'm pretty sure these are all from material icon kit so they should be the same :(. If they are all from the same kit then perhaps it could be manually fixed, depending on the copyright, or what about a display change based on ratio? I know these are svg files (I looked at some of the code for the website 😉) so they could be scaled by ratio. Not sure how the different screen sizes affect it but what if the ratio was changed to ~97% or ~103%; whatever fixes the issue. Again not sure if it’s doable but it’s what came to mind. The icons did not convert for dark mode. See screenshot again. Fixed in (4). Speaking of dark mode. Notice the + sign in the screenshot below. Fixed in (4). Can this be implemented somehow with the action menu that appears when sliding right on a thing? Perhaps all of those action buttons could be minimized to the icons and fit in the same row at the bottom of the screen. We felt the color here was okay since it is not on the screen while you are typing. Do you still believe we should remove the color? The color is okay but it’s not necessarily seamless. Thank you for moving the Done button but perhaps, in conjunction with #4 it could be the green save button. We're really looking for what is most intuitive since during our user studies a lot of people have issues with stopping selecting *things*. Do you think the save icon would work better than Done? Maybe something we can A/B test. I think an A/B test is always recommendable but to go back to the previous point, my opinion would be the green save icon might prove better if the selecting things menu was made to look as the new format menu. If not, then the Done button is less confusing. See the next point for more comments on this. Speaking of that action menu: could we add “move to the top”and “move to the bottom”buttons? Just an idea. Love this idea and something we have talked about. I'm not sure if we have enough room. Maybe the top level can be scrollable as well? It could be scrollable or the top bar could be added with the bottom bar with the rest of the formatting tools. With that, what if the green save icon was made into a green check mark icon to signify done? It would carry the same design style but not be the same as save. Make the profile button in the header more clickable. This is good, once again, in my opinion; however, I wonder if the shadows are really necessary at all. If you look at the main view, there is not a single button with a shadow. The same is true with the lists in both the Bookmarks and Recents sections. Perhaps the app would be more fluid in the UI if the shadows were removed altogether. I think you may be right. I may just need to play around with the design. The bigger buttons require the shadow, I think, but maybe not. The profile button is the one I'm most concerned about. Speaking of settings: the account and settings page are somewhat confusing. There are several places to ask for help, which is nice, but I would think one would suffice. The same is true with the Twos social links: one place should be enough. Also, should the user account info and settings all be within the same page? Most people using other apps are now accustomed to going to settings to find their account info or vise versa but not both places. With that said, my opinion would be to combine everything into one of two views with both buttons located where the Twos and Help buttons are now. Have everything related to Twos help, contact, and social within the Help menu and everything settings and account within the account/settings menu. This could allow the Home and Today buttons to rise to the top and give more room for recents and bookmarks. Just a thought…. It's a very intriguing thought. I believe you are correct about putting things together. I am most concerned about the profile and settings. To me, I like the setting exposed to help people navigate to them more easily. Maybe it isn't too hard to go into profile and then settings.. I'll take a look at the data to figure out what to do about the help buttons. If people click them more often in the profile view then we may keep them. I'll also poke around other apps to see what they do with profile and settings. Thank you for your help John! Here’s another idea. The main part of the profile view that could not be in settings is the stats view, so what if the stats view became its own stand-a-lone page that was accessible in the main menu like Home and Today. Then as the stats become more robust and you add more features tied to the stats it would already have a place of its own there with the rest of the buttons. If the stats are moved then everything else could be moved to the settings page. Perhaps “customizations” page would be a more encompassing term that could include everything from coins, to calendar, to settings, to profile pic, etc. These two changes could allow y’all to separate Customizations and Help. It is always my pleasure to help. Let me know if it ever gets to be too much. Automatically collect coins. Works great! Love it.
