How I use Twos for Project Management as an Entrepreneur

- What Twos helps with
- I've used Twos to manage development work, user ideas, weekly sprints, and marketing content for the past 3 years.
- Twos is quick and easy and to remember any *thing* I need to do day to day and keeps everything organized in one place.
- Twos helps us capture notes, tasks, and set reminders, but Twos also helps us share and organize information as a team, from meeting notes, to press releases, to newsletters, and more.
- Development work
- For dev work, I have 3 lists, "Dev past," "Dev," and "Dev next." You can think of these lists like a kanban board.
- What I'm currently working on lives in "Dev." "Dev" is bookmarked for quick access in my side menu and has "Collapse completed things" ON so when I finish something, it is hidden so I can focus on what's next.
- Every month, when we put the Twosletter together (our monthly newsletter to investors, friends, and family), I can easily see what I've accomplished in "Dev" and then move the completed things to "Dev past." Each *thing*, or dev item, still maintains the date of when it was created and when it was last edited. I'll then move *things* from "Dev next" into "Dev" for the upcoming sprint.
- Sometimes, I will turn certain *things* in "Dev" into sublists to plan them out in more detail and so I can remember important details in the feature.
- Throughout the day, I may think of improvements, find bugs, or someone will make a request, and I can quickly write these down on my "Today" and move thee to "Dev."
- User ideas
- For user ideas, I have a top-level list for "User ideas" and then a sublist for each user's ideas. This helps me remember who to inform when we release a new feature and when they told us.
- Weekly sprints
- For sprints, we have a high-level list for "Sprints" and then inside are sublists for each sprint (i.e. Sprint 39 (5/10/22-5/16/22).
- Each sprint, or sublist, has a goal, is shared with our team, and is made up of tasks.
- I bookmark the current sprint list for quick access in my side menu throughout the sprint.
- Throughout the sprint, I'll select and copy tasks from the sprint onto specific days I'll work on them.
- When we plan the next sprint we will copy important unfinished *things* to our next sprint list.
- Marketing content
- For marketing content, I have a list of titles/ideas for future blogs and videos.
- When I work on an idea, I'll turn the idea into a sublist, bookmark the sublist until it is published or posted, write an outline in the list. Once I have the outline, I fill in the content, and once I have the content, I'll do a final round of edits before publishing or creating the video.
- Twos makes it quick and easy to capture ideas and lists are a great way to organize and prioritize the ideas.
- My personal life
- Outside of work, I also use Twos for a lot of personal project management.
- I have a list for "Things I need to do," "Blogs to read," and "Trips," as well as relationship management with lists for friends and family members so I can remember important information about them or *things* they say.
- Why Twos?
- Twos makes it very easy for me to remember and organize any information surrounding my work and personal projects. It helps me quickly capture any idea or *thing* I need to do and it keeps every *thing* together in one, easy system.
- If you haven't tried Twos, I highly recommend it as a replacement for any task or project management system for an easy and powerful system that you will enjoy and keep up with.
