- Amazon books. So easy. Started as I need a book go to amazon. Now it
is I need anything. Go to amazon.
- What is the most common scenario or thing for most people to write down? Focus on that. Pick 1 or 3. Most likely 1. Push that and wire in the habit. Expand later
- Start on one problem and expand then
- LinkedIn was focused. Didn’t add photos. They chose not to.
- Be careful about telling them they can use it for everything
- Find the one thing
- Challenge ourselves to pick the one thing and drive that message
- What is the one thing that people need it for?
- When Twitter was brand new. Ev was getting slammed by TechCrunch because it was too easy
- Simplicity is what people want
- Instagram. Kept it simple. That is why they won
- Very very limited and get better and better at it. Hard for engineers. Hard for people in startups
- Every feature you add increases your likelihood of failure
- It is not intuitive. It feels the other way. Add more to be better, but that is not true
- Stick to your guns
