I Tried Twos for a Week - Imane Ben

- Had me in my feels throughout
- Love the celebration song
- I just finished reading Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg. It can be very hard to remember to congratulate ourselves and feel good about doing things we need to do, I love this idea of figuring out how we can reward ourselves for doing the right thing
- Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg
- You change by feeling good—not by feeling bad
- Something you do to create positive emotions such as saying “I did a good job”
- Shared from Twos ✌️
- "I felt like Twos could not only become home for what we care for most but also a tool that we use to develop an attitude that makes remembering things easier and takes away that stress of feeling like “forgetting something”."
- Today’s ‘Twos’ was fun, tomorrow’s ‘Twos’ will be Revolutionary…
- Improvements:
- Aesthetics matter as much as a productivity app with multiple features
- Experiment with vibrant designs and add more colors to the app
- Be spacious (ie: isn’t too condensed with content) as much as functional
- Translation
- A Twos widget: add to its practicality and eventually, enhance its capacity to enable its users to write down, hence remember, what they want to more quickly
- If we put productivity, on one hand, positivity on the other, and merge between both in one place; we will get an app that is all about “positive productivity” and that does sound refreshing.
- Nothing is more valuable to me than taking care of my state and optimizing how I feel to best show up for my tasks
- “Your state, your story, (then) your strategy.” - Tony Robbins
- An app that notifies me to be positive in my productive times is as important as one that helps me with planning them and writing down my things
- If Twos can take an initiative into building a safe and positive space for its users while planning and jotting down ideas, I think that will be the real game-changer as far as productivity is concerned
- The only feature I would personally vote for in a productivity app from social media is stories; not to compare but to feel connected through the use of the app vis à vis being productive
- Development of challenges and sending congratulatory messages to one another upon their completion
- Imane! That was amazing ✌️🎉. Your writing makes me feel inspired, relieved and empowered. It was such a joy to read (wrote some great things in Twos ✌️😉 and love your suggestions for improvements 😍) and to exchange messages so far. I look forward to keeping in contact and reading your blog for years to come.
Your idea to bring more positive emotions into our daily lives when we accomplish goals or do things we need to do is brilliant. I recently read Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg and he mentioned people change by feeling good, not by feeling bad, so if there are things we want to do, we need to congratulate ourselves when we take action or make a good decision. "Positive productivity" sounds very refreshing and it will always be a goal of Twos 😊.
Your improvements were amazing 👏. We haven't fully worked with a designer so we are very excited to improve our aesthetics and add more color soon. This will also help a lot with the spacing and feeling more comfortable. Since most of the app is user generated, translations should be a quick addition we can make 😊, and people have been asking for a widget so some sort of overview of your day, a specific list, and a quick way to write something down will be added soon. Thank you so much for your suggestions!
Lastly, in regards to social connection and accountability, I love your idea of challenges and the ability to share small, short-term updates. To me, it's funny how much time we spend privately working toward goals that our close friends and family aren't even aware of. Having a seamless way to share our accomplishments and goals with others would allow us to connect over the things we really care about and would give people an opportunity to help one another.
I'm so thankful for you, this review, the start of our relationship, and for the opportunity to help more people be clear on what they care about, be productive, and remember precious moments, information, and accomplishments in life. Thank you so much for giving Twos a try, asking questions, and writing this review. I look forward to speaking more soon and don't hesitate to reach out ✌️
