- TikTok:
- 12/29/2021 - Pt. 1 of Tweets that should have never been made public
- 9490 views, 95 likes, 1 organic comment
- Black background, able to read a very small part of the tweet, emojis in the thumbnail, title in the thumbnail, trending song
- Quick, hook, to the point, shocking, timely
- Hair still in frame, kinda funny
- 12/30/2021 - Pt. 2 of Tweets that should've stayed private
- 5157 views, 66 likes, 1 organic comment
- Be able to see a small part of the tweet, bad job on thumbnail title, but still quick, catchy, to the point.
- Seems like as soon as I pinned my message to the top, the views went down
- 12/30/2022 - Tweets that should NOT have been posted pt. 3
- 856 views, 3 likes, 0 organic comments

- 179 views, 4 likes, 0 organic comments
- Not viral, not exciting, not engaging, and maybe too long

- Twitter:
- 1/2/22 - Random replies to people from IFTTT
- ~20-30 impressions per tweet, ~1 profile click, and no new followers
- Trying to fit a square into a round hole is more difficult than it's worth. Also brevity is key. If people are reading, they're not reading a lot.
- Therefore just write things they are saying they want to remember, share it from Twos, include the title, hope for the profile click
- Except when the author interacts, likes, or replies - then the profile clicks and engagement go way up
- 1/2/22 - Interacting with Pat McAfee during Sunday Night Football
- 15,236 impressions, 25 profile visits, no new followers
- Responding quickly and being interesting/funny/entertaining is the #1 goal
- Being in touch with what the tweet author is saying and who their audience makes for a more successful reply.
- People interacted more often when I was sharing a thing on a day compared to a list - if it is going to be a list, people need to know that it is a list
- Replies to tweets with media got more impressions than replies without
- Make sure the funnel is set up so anyone who is interested enough in clicking on my profile, may click on the download link
- 1/3/22 - Interacting with Pat McAfee during Monday Night Football
- 13,204 impressions, 23 profile visits, 101 likes, 20 views on pinned video
- SOME individual tweets that were not replies did okay on profile visits
- Likes do not equal pinned video views or downloads
- 1/3/22 - Quote tweeted by @Stuckey2
- 11,082 impressions, 24 profile visits, 10 views on pinned video
- Being quote tweeted is good
- Being relevant and considerate of the person you are trying to reach is good (said something relative to an article he wrote on action network)
- Instagram:
- Holiday Giveaway
- 441 impressions, 73 profile visits, 28 new followers
- The random middle of Christmas post did not do very well. I think it is because it was nothing new, nothing special, and nothing attention grabbing.
- The New Year's Day post however did very well
- Seems like some good engagement, even on the post announcing the winners.
- The more we come across as people on instagram (posting pictures of ourselves, our cars, etc) the more organic engagement we get. Maybe start sharing all of our captions from Twos and make them as short as possible
- Also, revisit the profile presence - icon, bio, call to action
- Update the highlights with thumbnails that are attractive and more clickable
- Target niche blogs
- Targeting blogs prospective customers read is one of the most effective ways to get your first wave of customers
- Search "top blogs for x" or "best x blogs"
- At the bottom of blog posts and landing pages, simply ask for an email address
- Free courses related to your area of expertise is another way to educate potential customers about your problem space and product
- At the end of the course put a call to action, such as asking people to purchase your product, start a free trial, or share something with their friends
- Instead of throwing everything at them, you can email them five days after they've signed up and say, "Hey, did you know we have this feature?"
- Determine the steps absolutely necessary to get value from your product
- Example signup email
- Share top 10 lists of things that include #3 and #6 on the list as a preview to get them to want to view the whole list
- “Top 10 ways to sleep better”
- Go to bed early
- Drink water
- Eyemask
- White noise
- Share those two and say “view the whole list here”
