- Writing things down should not be difficult or time consuming
- Inhibiting message 👀
- ✓ Twos is the best place to write things you want to remember because it is quick and easy
- Here are 6 ways to save time in Twos
- ✓ You can do this with multiple things by swiping to the right to select them, and using the move up // move down arrows.
- First you can swipe things to the right to complete them
- Its feel good to accomplish the things you wanted to do
- Write script
- Next, you can swipe things to the left to select them
- Once you are selecting things you can tap to select multiple things
- Select is great for performing an action on multiple things at once, like format, move, or share
- Lets format these things into to-dos, using the format button in the select actions and then changing their type from a dash to a to-do
- Shoot the video
- Edit the video
- Third is moving things between days and lists
- Anytime you have something you want to remember, you can quickly write it down wherever you are then move it to its appropriate list
- Let's say we think of a grocery item we need from the store, we can write on Today, or whatever list we happen to be viewing, and then tap the move button in the quick actions. The move modal will appear and you can select the day or list to move your things to. We can search for our grocery list, and milk was moved to our grocery list
- There's no need to find the list before you write it down, decreasing the chance you'll forget it, and saving you time navigating back and forth when you're in the middle of something
- You can also move things, like a to-do, to tomorrow if you don't finish it today. No need to rewrite it tomorrow, just swipe left to select it, tap Move in the select actions, and tap tomorrow in the move modal
- Twos will also help you create reminders when you move things to a future day
- Lets remember to start editing at 9 am tomorrow
- Next is adding tabs
- Place your cursor at the front of a thing, it can be a blank thing or something you've already written, and press the space bar to add a tab
- Tabs are great for outlining and structing information
- You can remove tabs by placing your cursor at the front of your things and pressing backspace.
- Fifth is changing the type of a thing with keyboard shortcuts
- Keyboard shortcuts are just as easy as adding a tab
- Place your cursor at the front of a thing and use the following shortcuts to change the thing's type.
- To turn a thing into a dash you can type dash followed by a space
- For text, type three periods followed by a space
- And for a todo, type an open bracket followed by a closed bracket followed by a space
- Lastly you can reorder
- Tap and hold any thing to reorder it on a list
- Reordering will save time dealing with those pesky cursors, copy, and paste on your phone/laptop
- That was 6 ways you can save time capturing anything you want to remember in Twos.
