- Share worthy means any of the following:
- Social currency: help people look smart, rich, cool
- Triggers: reminders in environment
- Emotion: Feelings over features
- Public: Show off other people using it
- Practical value: Save people time, health, money
- Stories: narratives, not information
- Good idea to share our stories of forgetting/remembering
- Asking people to share how they are using it is great public proof
- People may be excited to share to look smart for remembering now
- Love all the email/influencer/journalist/app review sites/tech blogs/app awards reach outs, may want to reach out on Twitter so it is public?
- We will most likely need tier logos for in-app tier presentation, so this could be a priority
- Certainly need to plan out challenges and videos
- Could be through a agency if cost effective, may just need to be resourceful for now
- Love an info graphic
- We should set up some sort of blog
- Yes to talk to users and set up user studies
- Giveaway/raffle/launch party could be dank. Potato?
- What do we want to hire for?
- Emailing users needs to be planned out a bit more: do we want intro/tips/weekly/upgrade emails?
- We can think about effective ads, I almost think we should try to push through word of mouth for a bit first?
- Still not sure about kick starter. What are we kick starting?
- I like a referral program, may be harder to enforce. How do we know they downloaded based on a referral? Do we give it to them before the people they shared with sign up?
- Rebranding for major holidays will be dank. Should pick which holidays we want to do it for from now until the new year?
- To-do:
- Reach out to users/new users/FB/Reddit etc. groups for user studies
- Reach out to/follow up with influencers/journalists/app review sites/tech blogs/app awards
- Plan/make the first app store screenshot video
- Plan/make videos/challenges for marketing
- Set up a blog
- Product hunt
- Pick holidays
