- We are not currently focused on generating revenue. Twos is currently focused on the product, growing the user base, and finding the right product-market fit.
- We are not currently focused on generating revenue as we believe Twos will always be free to the base user. We have recently started marketing the application, are focused on finding product market fit, and have experience good word of mouth organic growth.
- We are not currently focused on generating revenue as we believe Twos will always be free to use. We have just started marketing the application, are focusing on problem-solving marketing, but have experienced good word of mouth organic growth.

- IDEA
- Why did you pick this idea to work on? Do you have domain expertise in this area? How do you know people need what you're making?
- Parker initially had the idea to combat his depression during his freshman year of college. He set out to create the best place to put your thoughts, needs, and memories. In our experience, most people we have spoken to are less than satisfied with the place they write things down and desire a more seamless experience. Which Twos offers, unlike any other application.
- Parker has experienced many benefits from writing, including overcoming depression and finding out his personal mission. Parker saw a flaw in how we record and share information which stops us from writing in the first place. We’ve talked to people to validate they have the same issues and have received confirmation that Twos helps people record, remember, and share any piece of information.
- Parker has experienced many benefits from writing, including overcoming depression and realizing his life's mission. Parker saw an opportunity to change how we capture and share information to empower people to write more things. We’ve spoken to many people who validate they have the same issues and seek a better place to capture, remember, and share any piece of their busy lives.
- Ask yourself if your current tool for writing things down is quick, easy, and organized?
- What's new about what you're making? What substitutes do people resort to because it doesn't exist yet (or they don't know about it)?
- Twos stores pieces of information individually of the list it is on which allows users to write anything down quickly and organize it seamlessly. It allows us to be the quickest and easiest place to record and store any piece of information. In the future, we will expand on our private notes to allow sharing of days, lists, and things to improve people's connection with one another and to become the biggest personal and social network of information.
- Twos is based on our daily lives and the pieces of information we come across. It stores information in pieces, which allows Twos to be the fastest way for users to record and organize their information. In the future, we will expand on private notes and allow sharing to improve human connection and knowledge in the biggest network of personal and social information. Currently, people use daily planners, post it notes, Apple notes, text messages, and emails which all lack in at least one aspect that Twos provides—longevity, memory, speed, accessibility, sharing, and organization
- Twos is based around our daily lives and the things we come across and try to remember. It stores information in pieces, which makes it the quickest way for users to capture and organize their information. Twos will expand on private notes and relaunch Twos Social to redefine human connections and disrupt current social media outlets which simply share personal updates. Currently, people use daily planners, post-it notes, Apple notes, texting/emailing themselves, which all lack at least one aspect that Twos provides—longevity, memory, speed, accessibility, sharing, and organization.
- Who are your competitors, and who might become competitors? Who do you fear most?
- Some of our competitors are Notion, Apple Notes, Evernote, notebooks, paper, sticky notes, and other productivity/task apps. We do not fear any of our competitors because they are not designed to store any piece of information. Mostly productivity-based.
- Notion, Apple Notes, Evernote, Roam, notebooks, paper, sticky notes, email, and other productivity/task apps. Twitter and Facebook could become competitors if they incorporated private recording. We fear Notion the most, but don’t think they are not considering storing any piece of information like we are or with the social side we envision.
- Notion, Apple Notes, Evernote, Roam, notebooks, paper, sticky notes, email, and other productivity/task apps. Twitter, Facebook, and Google could become competitors if they incorporated private capturing of information. We fear Notion the most, but their model is more focused around enterprises instead of the consumer. They also lack many features that makes Twos the quickest, easiest, and best place to write things down.
- What do you understand about your business that other companies in it just don't get?
- People have many more thoughts then just tasks. There is immense value in being able to write down your thoughts, memories, dreams, goals, along with tasks. Our user retention is so high because once people start writing things in Twos they are not willing to let go of that information and want to be reminded of their favorite life moments.
- People have more thoughts than tasks. There is value in recording thoughts, experiences, dreams, and goals, along with tasks. And once people record information privately, they should be able to share that information, or pieces of it, quickly and easily to connect with and teach others.
- People are constantly bombarded with new information and have more thoughts than just tasks. There is value in recording thoughts, experiences, dreams, and goals, along with to-dos. Once people capture their lives privately, they should be able to share those experiences, or pieces of it, to teach and connect with others.
- How do or will you make money? How much could you make?
- (We realize you can't know precisely, but give your best estimate.)
- We will make money through advertising, acquisition, pro-feature subscriptions, sales lead generation and taking a percentage of people selling their lists within Twos. We feel like the revenue potential Twos has is exponential. We are focused on creating the biggest network of private and social information which creates a community of brand-loyal customers who will want to improve their experience using Twos with pro features or by acquiring new information. We would like to be acquired for no less than $2 billion USD.
- We will make money through advertising (on the social side), pro-feature subscriptions, sales lead generation, taking a percentage of people selling their lists within Twos, and eventually acquisition. The revenue potential of the biggest network of private and social information is exponential, but we predict it will be billions per year.

- How will you get users? If your idea is the type that faces a chicken-and-egg problem in the sense that it won't be attractive to users till it has a lot of users (e.g. a marketplace, a dating site, an ad network), how will you overcome that?
- We want to target our customers by educating them on all the problems they can solve in their personal lives by using Twos. We will accomplish this through advertisements, word-of-mouth, and leveraging influencers with big networks to show how much value they get out of using Twos and wanting to spread the word to their followers.
- We will target customers with the problems they can solve with Twos. We will accomplish this through advertisements, word-of-mouth, and influencers with big audiences to show the value they receive from Twos. Once we find our product market fit we will blast that channel and improve the product to meet their needs while opening up the product to the majority

- Is there anything else we should know about your company?
- (Pending lawsuits, co founders who have left, etc.)
- Twos is a very strong brand, we believe it will become similar to Apple or Nike, as it is a positive celebration of people's experiences and the hand peace sign is a positive, global hand gesture.
- I think we should leave this blank. I understand what we’re going for, but they always strive less is more and I think this could take away from the application, as crazy as that may seem because ✌️🚀 🌚
- OTHERS
- If you had any other ideas you considered applying with, please list them. One may be something we've been waiting for. Often when we fund people it's to do something they list here and not in the main application.

- 7 Levels Deep: find your why
- Tens: the best party game in the world
- Aware: daily habit tracker
- Please tell us something surprising or amusing that one of you has discovered.
- I have nothing for this @Parker
- How much of our reality is made up of our thoughts and perceptions and writing them down has a profound impact on our understanding of ourselves and the world.
- How many fleeting pieces of information we do not have the ability to capture in a quick and easy place. The value that capturing that information brings and how many things we forget without even realizing we forgot them.
- (The answer need not be related to your project.)
- CURIOUS
- What convinced you to apply to Y Combinator? Did someone encourage you to apply?
- The name recognition of Y Combinator is unprecedented. We want to be part of the biggest and best community available and believe YC is that organization. We were referred by a former YC alum who's name I will input here when we have the information we need.
