- Don’t take criticism too personally. Everyone has an opinion and the strongest people learn from their criticism instead of letting it affect them.
- Do not listen to respond - listen to understand and then formulate a response. Pausing is not a sign of unintelligence. It gives people time to think.
- Do not mention a problem unless you have a solution.
- One step at a time. Focus on the first step and if you can’t do that break it down into smaller steps. Momentum will build.
- Playfully misinterpret people to be more funny easily.
- Lean back body posture. You wouldn’t follow if they were to walk away.
- Nobody cares about your insecurities as much as you.
