- Asking our selves different questions directs us to think in different ways which produces different answers which can show us a side of ourselves that we didn't even know was there. You can build something really interesting from that

- Who am I and where do I want to go?
- What message do I want to get across to people and hoe do I want to use my time?
- Tune into your inner voice
- Strong believer in the power of the inner voice
- A key part in figuring out who you are is learning to recognize those hunches and those feelings
- The problems in the modern world are not a matter of life and death
- It's stuff to step away from the busyness and carve out time just to think. It can be a massive effort and something you need to go about deliberately
- Writing in a journal has been incredibly helpful for her
- We need to connect with people and create community. We want to know and be known. We have to show other people who we are

- When we make something out of nothing and can put it out into the world, and can make it have meaning for other people, we are showing the world who we are

- That work ethic defines your life and requires sacrifices from you and the people around you
- It's not glamorous or fun to talk about
- The darker times teach you things that you really need to know to get you to where you want to be
- Identify your talent, cultivate it, master it, put it out into the world to serve other people
